Fordel Village

Lead project management and planning role in the masterplanning of a new rural village of the Fordel Services located on the outskirts of Dalkeith. The commission involved detailed input to the overall design/site layout, co-ordination of project team and ultimately the planning application for the development of 60 new residential dwellings together with a central village green and upgrade of existing site facilities. Planning permission was received in 2014 with Ferguson Planning also involved in introducing the preferred Housebuilder to the site and who is now looking to develop the site in the very near future.
